Aqua Medic Tweezers
The Tweezers are a useful tool for the removal of problem algae. The Tweezers are fitted with a 12mm (1/2") hose connection where suction can be applied by a siphon to a bucket or by connection to a canister filter inlet. Aqua Medic Plankton Reactor (Zooplankton cultivation unit)
Many species of salt and fresh water zooplankton can be cultivated in the plankton reactor. The zooplankton is fed with micro-algae from the plankton light reactor. The zooplankton has great growth potential: under optimal algal nutrition the number of rotifers (Brachionus) may double over four days. Brachionus is the ideal food for raising many marine fish larvae and invertebrates in the saltwater aquarium. Requires a separate high pressure air pump. The bacteria within an anaerobic biofilter need organic nutrients as their energy source to remove nitrate. denimar contains organic substances which dissolve slowly in water, and are taken up by the bacteria.
