Supplied as standard with the MAX 130D & MAX 250, and available as an upgrade for the MAX 130, the accessory kit fits neatly in to the back of all MAX models and allows for the use of chillers, external filters, UV sterilisers etc. The accessory kit prevents hose kinking and reduced water flow or a build up of pressure on ancillary equipment. Locking nuts hold hoses firmly in place. The accessory kits is designed for use with 16mm / 5/8” pipe.

Red Sea MAX Surface Skimmer Upgrade Kit
Supplied as standard with the MAX 130D, the surface skimmer is available as an upgrade for the original MAX 130. Easy to fit and highly effective, the surface skimmer increases the rate at which surface water is pulled into the filter, reducing surface film, dust etc and removing water from the area of the aquarium where most organic waste is found. The Surface Skimmer is fully adjustable and reduces maintenance by improving water flow through the filter, and allows for evaporation when in its lowest position.

Ideal for use with the MAX 130 / 130D / 250 cabinets, the ventilation kit consists of a high quality 12V DC ventilation fan in a robust housing, supplied with a dedicated power supply and mounting screws. The Ventilation Kit is suitable for use with most cabinets, and will help prolong the efficiency and life of chillers by providing a constant flow of ambient air through the cabinet, preventing heat build up around the chiller.
