Vallisneria Asiatica (Live Aquarium Plant)
Vallisneria sp. ‘Asiaatica’ from Asia is a hardy plant for beginners. It has fine, narrow leaves (50-100 cm long, 1 cm wide) so it does not overshadow other plants much. Easy to propagate using its many runners.

Carefully remove the plant from its packaging. The plant may be planted in the aquarium as a bunch otherwise remove the retainer carefully from the roots. Plant the root system into the substrate. The root stem should not be covered fully by the substrate (gravel/fertiliser) or it will rot.
